Terra Conflict ("the Game") is operated by PopCape Interactive. This policy explains what information we collect when you use terraconflict.com and how we handle it. We've written it in plain language because privacy policies should be readable.

We use third-party service providers, including Cloudflare (network security and delivery), Google AdSense (advertising), and Zoho Mail (email), to help operate and secure the service.

Information We Collect

• Account information. If you create an account, we store your email address, username, and a securely hashed version of your password. We never store passwords in readable form.
• Gameplay statistics. Wins, losses, draws, and games played are recorded for accounts and shown on your profile and the public leaderboard.
• Session data. A login token is stored in your browser's local storage so you stay signed in. Guests receive a temporary in-game name that isn't stored after the session.
• Presence data. While the site is open, your browser pings our server so we can display the "players online" count. This is anonymous and not retained.
• Technical data. Our hosting and network providers (including Cloudflare) process IP addresses as part of serving the site securely and preventing abuse.

Advertising & Cookies

We use Google AdSense to show advertisements. Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can learn more or opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings and aboutads.info.

How We Use Information

• To operate the game: matchmaking, saving your progress, showing leaderboards.
• To keep the service secure and prevent cheating or abuse.
• To display advertising that supports the free game.

We do not sell your personal information. We don't send marketing email.

Data Security

While we take reasonable measures to protect user information — including hashed passwords and secure connections — no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Data Retention & Deletion

Account data is kept while your account exists. To delete your account, contact us (below) from the email on the account. We will make reasonable efforts to remove or anonymize associated account data, except where retention is required for legal, security, or operational purposes.

Children

Terra Conflict is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we'll delete it.

Governing Law

This policy is governed by the laws of the State of Alabama, United States.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top will be updated. Significant changes will be noted on the site.
